The Ubermom in action with M3
The Calandro Clan is made up of me: Eileen; my husband: John (LOML -Love of My Life); and our three boys: M1, M2, and M3. We Calandros have a great time together. We throw over-the-top parties, laugh a lot, and get ourselves in over our heads all the time. (Not financially over our head – we just say yes first, and then freak out later. But that seems to be working for us.)
We look at the process of raising our boys as one of the most important things we could ever do with our lives. We feel blessed to have them, but also very responsible for how much we can mess them up. We always joke that we will know we have done a good job as parents if they can afford their own therapy as grown adults. (We use humor as a crutch around here.) Seriously, though, parenting is tough stuff and I’m never quite sure if I’m doing the right thing. That’s why the tagline of our blog is “we’re making this up as we go along”. I’m just doing the best I can with the tools I have available at the time.
We look at life as one Big Adventure after another. Opportunities just keep on knocking and we just keep opening up the door. Come along on the adventure that is being a Calandro.
